A Kind Man

A new opera by Jonathan Finney based on Dame Susan Hill’s novel of the same name

Finney’s operatic re-telling of Susan Hill’s 2011 story A Kind Man was staged in London in Hoxton Hall, London, 7, 8, 10 and 12 June 2022. It was directed by Paul Higgins and the composer conducted the London Concertante.

Two seven-minute recordings of part of the opera are now available, performed by Rebecca Afonwy-Jones and Simon Grange, together with the London Concertante.
